whas teh deal with bumpers? you should or shouldnt use them?
I knwo my 6 piece bedding set came wiht them but i dont know if i should us eit. i have heard both good and bad about them. TIa

We've always used them but Miranda didn't go into her crib until 6 months and once we got to the point of unswaddling her she was able to lift her head and roll around. At this point I would be more worried about her foot getting caught or something like that.

If you are very risk adverse, you shouldn't use them. Basically the trade off is bumps and bruises for a small reduction in SIDs risk.

I took them out, and she kept sticking her feet throuh the slats so I put them back.
