West Babylon Co-ops-Question

A good friend of mine is going to be making an offer on a co-op in country club gardens on farber drive. I went to go look at it, it was a first floor unit, with deck out back.
Front faced sunrise highway, very cute place.

Anyone know the area, or even know the development?

I know an older retired couple who bought a co-op there a few years ago when they down-sized. They live in FL most of the year but they are happy there for the few months that they are back on LI.

My DH's friends lived there, they were very happy there, actually. i know the neighborhood isn't "bad" although it is on sunrise hwy and 109... everything is near. i think they will always be re-sellable.

I live in WB. The area in which they are is great, however it is right on Sunrise Highway and the noise is loud. Unlike many other co-ops in the area there are no trees or bushes that block the noise. Also, the area in which they are in is near a few undesirable streets in WB. However, I do have a friend living there who doesn't mind any of those things. She enjoys it.

Thank you very much for answering my questions, The unit they are looking at faces sunrise highway, but the bedroom is in the back facing other buildings. so it wasnt to noisy we were there during the day.

Seems like a good area, she commutes to NYC, so she will take the train.
