Were you monitored once you stopped your progesterone supps?
My RE graduated me last Thursday and told me to take my supps for only 7 days and then stop.
They said to make the OB appt for this week and if I can't get one, to schedule another appt with them.
To me, this is all BW/sono overkill bc my OB appt is set for Monday which will include that anyway.
Now I'm wondering if they wanted to see me or have someone see me this week bc I was stopping the supps completely.
My question is--
Did your RE or OB monitor you the week you stopped supps? Like, it is a serious matter to watch?
I officially stop tonight and then 5 days until I see the new OB. Would you see the RE for bloodwork or just wait it out? My prog has been good all pregnancy.

i stopped pio at 12 weeks, my re already released me and i was with my ob/gyn. '

I didn't stop until 11 weeks, by which point I was with my OB already. Nothing specific was done to monitor it once I was off.

But did they need to monitor your prog levels once you stopped?

Mine was like 10.5 or 11 weeks I forget. If your levels are fine, then it's totally okay. I forget, but I feel like I read that after 9 weeks your placenta or something else starts creating what you're getting from the progesterone, so there's generally not a need to do both. My OB would have taken me off it from the start, but just waited it out since my RE put them on it (I had good progesterone from start).

what levels are fine? last 2 checks mine was 19 now its 13 and still on prog. supps. just curious :)

They stopped me at 8 weeks. I read after 6-7 weeks, it is unnecessary, but REs keep people on it to keep the patient at ease.
They never checked my levels after they had me stop.

I was not monitored once I was off the progesterone supps. RE told me I could stop at 9 weeks and I was nervous, so I asked OB if I could wean off at 11 weeks and he said OK.

Stopped at 12. They monitored me three days after stopping to make sure levels were ok. By week 13 no prog tests anymore

I stopped at 12 weeks. My RE told me to go off at 8 weeks, I was a nervous wreck. Stopped for two days and had a major bleed-we thought I miscarried, and then he put me back on.They didn't know if the cause of the bleeding was that I stopped the progesterone, but they did put me back on it for peace of mind. Didn't do any bloodwork though, which I though was odd! Told me to stop when I graduated to my OB (can't remember exact time, but I think it was between 9 and 10 weeks) but my OB kept me on till 12 weeks. I was doing PIO. At that point, they don't monitor b/c your placenta has taken over.

I stopped seeing my RE at 10 weeks, was told to go off the suppositories at 12w. I BEGGED Dr Cohen to let me stop them sooner, but he didn't. No one checked my levels after 10w.
My RE sent all my records over, and I went over them with Dr Cohen.
