We're closing today!!! Finally!!!!
After 8 months and 8 unsuccessful bids on other houses, we're finally going to be homeowners today. I'm so excited, I almost don't care about the emptying bank account

Thanks everyone! It feels so good to finally have our own place. Now we can stop helping pay someone else's mortgage and find someone to help us pay ours LOL
EAT: On those 8 tries, only two of them became a serious bidding war. My DH is very conservative and wanted to bid very low on houses and work our way up--but people easily outbid us and we'd lose right away. When this house finally came along, we bid over asking to make sure we didn't go through that again!
