Went to a CONDO open house yest in Queens
It was an insult to my intelligence and my eyeballs.
touted as "luxury" but had wood "looking" floors and granit-ee counter tops.
it lacked any charm.
the layouts were terrible...some of the unite the frig door hit the stove or counter opposite it b/c of lack of space.
and the appliances were white run of the mill Frigidaires.
NOT what you would expect paying $400-$550 K for a one or two bedroom.
Oh, and not tax abatement, so common charges were well over $800 per month, even for a studio.
I really wanted to slap the developer. how dumb to you think people are.
selling the luxury "look" at a reasonable price is one thing, but trying to pass if off as the real deal is totally ridiculous.
it was a waste of a Sunday.
except we picked up Grimaldi's pizza on the way home. that made it slightly better.

There are so many people in the industry that i'd love to buy dictionaries for. Clearly, they have very different interpretations of words than the rest of us.
