I bought two memory foam pillows yesterday, and couldn't wait to try them out last night!!! Well, the petroleum fumes were so strong, I was getting stuffed up, so I had to push them away and retrieve my old pillow. Today, I exchanged them. I had heard that foam gives off fumes. But, I'm sure I've had non fume foam pillows in the past!!!! Mary

I bought a bob o pedic. the fumes were so bad I was sleeping on my couch for weeks Chat Icon now that they are finally gone, I loooooooooooove the mattress. I'm very sensitive to smells so it was driving me insane, but I'm glad I didn't return it best sleep I've ever had

I'm sensitive to smells too!!!! If there's anything to smell, I'm the first to smell it!!!! Glad you were able to wait it out!!!!! We have a Sealy pillowtop, and neither DH, or I think it's comfortable. DH wanted one of the select number mattresses, but honestly, I couldn't tell a difference, and after reading comments on here about it, I didn't want one. Don't know what would feel comfortable!!!!
