weird question about water (in Medford)
We are closing on our house tomorrow (yay!  ) and I am trying to get the utilities squared away.
It occurs to me that I have NO idea who bills us for water.
We're buying in Medford and I've Googled Town of Brookhaven and water but am not coming up with anything.
Does anyone know?

I'm just guessing but most of suffolk is suffolk county water authority. You're sure its not well water right?

Thanks! I'll check out the water authority.
It's def. not well water but my husband wasn't sure if it was the town or county.
(Meanwhile, I thought the water was free  so you see what I know! )

It's Suffolk County Water Authority...call them before you close and they will switch it over the day of closing or the day you are taking over the house. It's really a very quick call...Post pics and where are you in Medford?
