Wedding tonight, help!!!! DRESS PIC ADDED
Hi girls!
Okay, I am bad at knowing the rules with this stuff....and I don't want to look bad so I am asking for your help.
I have a wedding tonight...planning on wearing the attached dress BUT IN BROWN) and similar shoes....is this okay? It's so cold out, I plan on wearing a camel colored coat that I have. Just checking to see if this will look okay....thanks!!
ETA: Resizing pic of dress AND forgot, the dress is BROWN w/ gold sequins, not this color. Image Attachment(s):

I don't see a pic of a dress. Personally I think it's too cold to wear open toed shoes like that, but I know a lot of girls would...just not me.

if the dress matches the shoes then its fine
i wear open toe to everything
you may want to bring a wrap with you to cover up if you re cold in the catering hall

You will look HOT, so go for it. I've worn shoes like that year round, so go for it. The wedding we went to in December I wore closed toe slingbacks. DO you have a wrap to wear once you take your coat off?

I don't usually do a strappy sandal in the winter either... A lot of people do though...
It's a personal preference! I wouldn't run out and buy new shoes just for tonight though

It'll look great if your clutch matches the shoes...I would also wear a wrap bc its freezing out there today, especially in the evening you'll freeze your tush off.

ITA! - i wore open toe shoes last week and it was fine and most of the other girls were in open toe too, with a few exceptions
