we survived our 1st day in daycare/at work!!
dropping her off this morning was by far one of the hardest things I have ever done.... ....I didn't even take her out out of the carseat for fear I would bring her home  ....but they were wonderful and supportive as i fled out to my car to cry....dh told me later he could not actually make out anything other than a sobbing of the 2 words "myyy baaabbbby" although he played along fine at the time!
all in all, she had a great day and.............
drum roll please...........
took not one,
not two
but THREE naps!!!
granted they in total were for just over 2 hrs but its a record for her!!
she has been all smiles since I picked her up and just downed her bowl of rice cereal like a big girl!!!
i am so releived today went smooth!

Glad to hear it went smoothly. The first week is the toughest, (this from a woman who is only on her second week of daycare! )

I've been back to work for 3 wks now, DS starts daycare in 2 weeks
I dread dropping him off! I hope I will survive too!

thanks everyone.....tomorrow is day 2 now (we only go p/t right now!)...let's hope I do better when I drop her off - and she has another great day!!!!
plus, since I run a program later on thurs - its "Daddy's" turn to pick up our munchkin...he already wrote out a list of what he needs to gather and bring home (soo cute...he did it on his lunchhour  )
