we need an architect and a lawyer...can anyone help?? please??
well, i didn't get much response to my CO question, but it looks like in order to get the CO, we need an architect to draw up new plans including the door in question, as well as a lawyer because we have to sue our title company, and possibly the lawyer who represented us when we bought the house 
this whole thing is overwhelming and very upsetting, especially since we don't know any lawyers or architects.
please FM me if you can pass along a name

I would definitely take recourse if you bought the house and they didnt property check for a C/O.
Can you just eliminate the door?

i think that's what we're going to have to do.
but they also said we should sue to get our money back for the expense of it all, since they were supposed to take care of this during the title search
