we got our appraisal, and i noticed some things were wrong

it showed that we had a full basement, and the house doesnt even have one, and it showed that there are 3 bedrooms and the house has 5.
The appraisers only did a drive by, they didn't actually go in. It looks like they just compared it to what other houses on the block had-unless those are wrong too??

Is this a problem? I told my mortgage broker, and she said not to worry about it. She said if they change it now, it might not appraise for as much. Right now it appraised for $10k more than what we are paying,,Chat Icon

I'm not sure, just remember though that appraisal will go to the state on the final bill of sale and I believe that's the amount the tax collectors office will use to set your property taxes at.
Not sure if its different in NYS though so def. go research that.
