We all know each Ped. is different....but
do you ever wonder if they tell each of the parents the same thing for each child/patient?
Like...for AndreaLMT hers said to wait till 6 mths for cereal....
Do you think that Dr tells all babies that, or is it just her?

I'd imagine when it comes to a specific thing like that, they give all of their patients the same advice, unless you're going through special circumstances. For example, if your baby is eating more than 32 ounces of formula a day, they may recommend starting cereal. That was Christopher's case. He was going through a LOT of formula, so our ped. gave the okay for cereal.

They tend to all follow a certain way of thinking. My doc gave me a handout with her schedule of food introductions and when to switch her to whole milk (according to what his practice's school of thought was)
We started at 4 months because she is formula fed, if we had BF they would have started us at 6 months...

I think they follow a guideline & than vary it depending on the baby's needs.
