WDYT? About Connor, the baby, and school?
Since Connor misses the cutoff date by 12 days he can't go into Kindergarten next year. Well, the transition class he would have to go in is hundreds more expensive because he is required to go 5 days a week instead of 3. And then the driving there (out of the way) and then having a baby tuition is expensive. Basically it would be just about all of my pay.
Connor has been going to Preschool for a while now and he's going to be doing a 4 yr old class that everyone would do right before Kindergarten. He just can't go the following year. Would it be terrible if I pull him from preschool for the year of the transition class, not put the baby into daycare that year until he's old enough to go into Kindergarten and just pay someone to watch them both at home for less money? Yes, Connor would be missing out somewhat, but he's been going for so long, I don't think he's going to fall behind at all. Then, after that year he'll be old enough to go to Kindergarten. I would make sure the person would be doing projects, workbooks maybe at home with him.
I just can't afford all of that tuition you know?
WDYT? Do you think it would be ok? I'm so used to them going to school I don't know what the best decision is? Also, since this person would already be at the house, I wouldn't have to worry about afterschool care for Caiden either.

We have a babysitter come into our house, and we LOVE LOVE LOVE her....she teaches them soooo much! I would say find someone good, and go for it!

would you put him in any program? I think for him to be home with a newborn fulltime is a lot and he will need some sort of interaction with kids his age. I know my son who has only been going to school for a year is sooo bored now that it's over and can't wait for camp. I can't imagine when he is 4 years old JMHO!
