Was sent to the hospital yesterday...
I have had some sort of stomach virus for the last few days and yesterday had really bad "cramping". I went to dr and they said the cramping I had was minor contractions and sent me to the hospital for IV Fluids and monitoring. I was BY MYSELF and scared to death because DH was at work still and there wasn't anyone else who could meet me at the hospital!! Luckily, the contractions were VERY minor and due to dehydration (my cervix wasn't opened or anything)...so after a few pints of IV Fluids they stopped...but it was really scary because I am only 23.5 weeks and when I heard the word "contraction" I started to freak out!! They sent me home after 5 hours and said to stay off my feet and just drink lots of gatorade and water...what a day!!

I'm sorry to hear that!! Stay hydrated - it's SO important and will keep the contractions down. It is normal to have some contractions but stay hydrated and rest and I hope you feel better!
