wall color advce needed for home office
the walls are currently painted burgandy but since getting the cherrywood desk, the wall color does not blend well (totally clashes). anyway, i was going to repaint the office a green and keep the area rug that i have now but found some other options.
question, what color would you paint the walls with this rug and window panels? desk is what i own already.
will anything other than tan or beige blend?

I was going to say a rich creamy color - the lighter color in the panels but you don't want that/ Maybe you can color match the red in the curtains?
I LOVE that desk!

red would clash with the desk. thinking ivory or tan would be best as well but my house is kinda on tan overload (down and upstairs hall, lr and one of the guest bdrms).
LOVE the desk and it really wasn't that pricey either ($1,500). need additional file storage and since EA doesn't have what i am looking for, i think i am going to order this . i received a color sample of the wood and itis a perfect match to the desk. Image Attachment(s):

I recommend BM gossamer blue. My office has similar colors and it both looks great and is soothing, which is nice in an office (esp during my long freak-out days!). I love it!!! Good luck!
