Video monitors and toddlers?

Are they worth it? or does your DC move around so much that you can't see them anyway...

Ella is all over the crib, so I'm wondering if it makes sense to get one.

DS moves all over, so I sometimes don't see him.
But depending on where you install the camera you prob could get a full view of the crib somehow.

My camera is over the crib on the wall and now DS stands up and knocks the camera off the wall in the morning, so we have to put it higher i think.

DS is almost 3 mos, and we have/use the video monitor. Right now we have not mounted it (the one we have, you can mount the camera) yet.

When we do mount it, we'll put it "high" enough that 1-DS can't reach it and 2-we can see the whole crib.

Only time we can't "see" him is when he is facing away from the camera.
