VFW/American Legion Halls
How much do you they usually charge to book a room? I am looking for something for March of next year for DS 1st b'day party. I was quoted $800 for 4 hours from one place and $700 from the other. Is this the norm?

We just recently used the Kings Park VFW for my mom's 50th birthday party. It was only $400 for 4 hours. I believe there may also be a cleaning fee if you choose not to do the cleaning yourself.

I paid $500 ... but the original quoted rate was $700. This was in Queens

I have been quoted $450 and $550....$800 seems crazy!!!
