Vet in e. northport commack huntington
or Hauppauge that is reasonable priced and able to be contacted on weekend? My vet is in roslyn and doesn't have weekend hours

West Hills Animal Hospital on Jericho Tpk... they're 24 hrs. They're a little pricier, but really REALLY great and very thorough!! And they do boarding. We used to take Cooper there when we first got him, but we left because it's kind of a hike for us.

Lucy used to go to West Hills...but I stopped taking her there b/c they couldn't treat her stomach condition properly.
Lucy goes to North Shore Veterinary Hospital in NPT. Dr Fredericks is great...Lucy usually sees Dr Berger who is also very good. The staff is great and I've never had a problem getting an emergency visit. They are open on Saturday's, not Sunday's...but I believe they have a hospital they work with for weekend/after hours emergencies.

Vet Center of ENpt - Dr Ullmann and Dr Gantt are fantastic and they are open on Saturday.

ITA. I make Bailey's appointments on sunday mornings - its empty, we are in and out.

On the other hand, I wouldn't recommend them. We took Peanut there when she was a pup and had blood in her stool. They said not to worry about it, it was stress related. Turned out she had a puppy parasite called Giardia.
We spent all that $$ on a mis-diagnosis.

I use Fort Hill in Huntington. They have great hours including Sunday. The only negative is that you have to pay by check or cash.

 That's terrible (Coop's had giardia, it's a PIA!!!) That's a shame because we've had nothing but great experiences there, they were super helpful when we firt got Cooper and he was very sick.

Dix Hills Animal hospital. They're a little bit pricey but they are wonderful. They even called and tried both my home and work #s just to tell me that Oscar's blood work came back normal.

Thank you all for the recs!!!I started off at West Hills on Jericho Tpke but had a very very very disturbing exp. with my brand new puppy so I will not go there again. I don't want to bad mouth them because its only my experience and i actually have a friend who loves them.
I am going to try one of the vets in east northport so thanks very much all!!!!!
