Vent - Work Related
So I was looking at my manager's calendar today and saw that she is going on vacation the week BEFORE my DUE date! 
I mean, she is handling my clients while I am on maternity leave and it happens to be our busiest time of year. What if I deliver early? Moreover, does she expect me to be 100% on my game the week before I am due? 
All I could do was laugh. This is also the same person that thumped her head on a table when I told her I was pregnant. 
I know this is terrible but I hope I deliver early just to spite her.
Rant over. Thanks for humoring me.

The same thing happened to me actually when I was pregnant with DS. But the woman I worked for did it on purpose b/c she knew she wanted to be there when I went out.
I actually ended up being put on bedrest the first day of her vacation....its risky on her part

My manager is also taking a week off in December (I won't be back until January).
I could be overreacting but I just don't get it. When she was on maternity leave twice, I purposely did not take time off since I knew that I was the only one available to my clients.
So why would she take vacations while I am about to pop, or already out? Her revenue depends on retention of my clients.
Uh, whatever. This is stressing me out.
