Vendor Rave!!!! CJ's bedding arrived today! PICS ADDED
I'll add pics in a few minutes (just have to upload them) but I couldnt wait to post this. We couldnt find anything we loved for CJ's Yankees themed nursery -- I didnt want Yankees bedding, but I wanted something using the navy/white/gray colors. We decided to use Eileen from Eileen's Kids (a vendor on LIF) since I had heard great things and her prices were very reasonable. She worked with our theme and was very careful to match the colors to the Yankees emblem. I couldnt believe it when the package arrived today -- she was so quick!!
Anyway, the bedding came out better than I ever could have imagined! It fits the room perfectly and I'm in love with it! I highly highly recommend her if you're still looking for bedding!!! We got exactly what we wanted, didnt break the bank, and we were able to actually choose our patterns, colors, and swatches.

You KNOW I was gonna love this one!!
That's exactly how I'd do it too...I wouldn't use obvious Yankee bedding or even sports images on the bedding. I'd probably just put little Yankee pictures around the room. What I love are the Harrison Woods pictures...here's one I already have:
I may still put those pictures in  's nursery...even though she's got a ladybug theme going. I may just have a little Yankee section in her room.

I'm trying to find an infant sized jersey to hang from a wall peg too -- I havent been able to find one for a reasonable price tho

I love it! What a talent. I wish I had used her for my bedding. I have expensive bedding my MIL bought that is put together pretty shabbily-(NoJo Jungle Tales FYI)

OMG I love those ideas. Have you tried ebay for the jersey?
Gehrig and the Babe - sounds like my house! We have an awesome huge pic of the Babe when he was honored at Yankee stadium in our livingroom and a pic of Lou Gehrig giving his speech, with the speech printed on the bottom in our dining room.
Harrison Woods has a bunch of prints like that- even with current players. So cute!
I can't wait to see your room all done up!!! Sounds like my dream  room...although before we found out we were having a I really didn't want to do the 'obvious' for a boy since our wedding was all Yankees, so I was gonna go monkeys/jungle theme. But...if I have a next time around, you've inspired me!
