Did they REALLY kill the hot lead cop?

he is going to be in a coma...not dead yet but not seen in epis from what i kno..eddie cibrian will be the new lead role..many vanished watchers r actually staging a boycott of the show b/c of this deicion.. so who knows if the ratings will plummet and get canceled

According to what I read on TWOP, Gale Harrold is leaving the show. BUT it was unconfirmed.
I totally did not see that coming last night, in spite of the rumors. I really like the actor and the character.
