using real rum in place of rum extract

I want to make banana foster cake balls but it calls for rum extract can I use regular rum and wat is the ratio difference

I found out how to do the opposite (sub. extract for rum), but you can figure out the ratio from this.

say for every tablespoon of dark rum called for in a recipe, you should use 2 tablespoons of rum extract. For every 5 tablespoons of light rum, use 1 tablespoon of rum extract.
