UPDATED...Guess who's getting her ear's pierced tomorrow evening?
My DD!
And mommy is so nervous.
How long are they typically uncomfortable for? Dumb quesiton: are the earrings designed for infants such that they can't pull them out and choke on them or tear their ear lobe? She does play with her ears a bit since she's "discovered" them.
UPDATE: She did it! She has pierced ears. She cried for a minute and then was fine. She's on the floor playing and back to her usual happy self. I'm glad it's done. She looks so cute - we chose little "diamond" posts. Overall a great experience.

Both my girls cried for about 1 minute after they were done. Then I fed them and they forgot about them. They ever even fussed when I cleaned the, Good luck!

DD got her ears pierced at 3 months. She cried for a minute, mostly because we had to hold her down and after that she forgot about them. She never touches them, but the backings do fall out and that's a pain.

Aww, she must look adorable!! I got Julia's done at 3 months, no problems! Just make sure you clean them often and don't let anyone touch them, I would say this to everyone, I didn't want her ears to get infected.

We are going tomorrow!! I am so nervous but since DD hair fell out and is just starting to grow back I am happy that she will look all cutie at Christmas...the pediatrician is doing them...will post pics tomorrow
