updated w/new ? TMI warning - losing mucus plug?
Yesterday and today, I've noticed a discharge like EWCM, but denser and white/yellowish. Is this my mucus plug? Can you lose it in "pieces"? There's no blood in it. I'm 39 weeks, so I really really really want this to be the start of something. Is it?

Yes, you definitely can lose it in pieces. I lost mine in it's entirety with my 1st pregnancy. You're pretty close to the end now, so it could definitely be the start of something for you!

Sounds like it! I've actually googled images  after I had 2 days of brown discharge after  last week  (mine wasn't it). What your describing does sound more like the pics I saw. I've heard it doesn't have to have blood in it.

Yes! Been losing mine in pieces for the past two days as well! Hopefully it means labor is soon for us
