UPDATED AT BOTTOM POST please tell me I am not alone- end of third trimester
I am so done.
I am in constant pain, and so uncomfortable.
The braxton hicks never end, and now they are accompanied by constant menstrual type cramps. CONSTANT.
I am so anxious for the real thing to happen. People keep saying "oh you will know", but I feel like maybe I wouldnt necessarily since I am constantly in pain.
In any case, I have my 38 week appt tomorrow. My doc said she doesnt do internals unless I request it. I called today to request it. I want to know whats going on and either brace myself for another 2 weeks or be able to remind myself when I am in pain that I am slowly making progress and maybe it will happen sooner.
Thanks for letting me vent.

I totally felt that way by 37 weeks when I was pg with DS. Also- don't get upset if you have an internal and they tell you nothing is going on. I had an internal ay 39.5 weeks and they told me nothing was happening. I went into labor 5 hours later 
BTW- there were many times I *thought* I might be in labor, but when I really was, I KNEW-and you will too! Real contractions and BH are different.
Hang in there- no matter what you are in the home stretch!

I am ready to be done too! At 39 weeks, I just spent 20 minutes trying to find something to wear. Ended up back in the same pants I wore yesterday. I guess I only fit into two pairs of pants right now. Leggings would work but my belly is so big and so low that no top comes close to covering low enough.
I should have my first internal today. Really hoping there's some progress, even if it doesn't mean much. Good luck to you!

I'm 34 weeks 1 day and up to this point I've been great. But today - I'm done. I'm exhausted and my feet and legs are starting to hurt. Just tired and uncomfortable and I still have 6 weeks of work to get through 
I can only imagine how you feel - hang in there - you're almost done!

31 weeks and I'm already feeling done an I've got such a looooooong way to go. I'm sick everyday nauseous, constipated or throwing up. I can't take much more. I just want to fast foward the next 8 weeks and get this baby here already. I feel bad complaining so much but it's just te way I feel.

37 weeks,2days here and I am done as well!! I stop working and my LIRR-subway-walking commute on Friday!!! I can't wait.
Went for a sono yesterday...the baby is weighing in at 7lbs 120z....
I find out Thursday night if I am dilated at all....(nothing was happening yet as of last Thursday)....

I am right there with you! I am 37wks 4days and all I keep telling everyone is that Im soooo done with this pregnancy. I too have constant braxton hicks and the lightening crotch is killing me...so freaking painful! I cant wait until this baby is out of me. we are almost there!

Yes I am DONE!!!
My other babies did not hurt... aith my 2nd dd I was running around the day before like nothing.
This guy must be huge, because every move hurts. It takes me FOREVER to do anything.
I am scheduled for a CS on Saturday, but that seems sooo far away!
Hoping to go into labor in the next day or so

Don't feel bad, I feel the exact same way. I'm 37 weeks on thursday but I'm having a c section on april 19th or 20th. I'm happy to cut a week off at the end but I'm always in so much pain that I don't even want to imagine going 16 more days.

Same here. 37 weeks and definitely cant take work anymore. Wasnt supposed to stop until 39 but there is no way I can continue to commute. I lost the plug so its making me more anxious because now Im just playing the waiting game. Really hoping things will happen within the next 2 weeks cause i dont think i can just hang around doing nothing for much longer. After an hour of 'nesting' my back is killing me and im done for the day so there's only so much i can do.

I'm with you!! My first pregnancy I had no issues with pain or sleeping. This time around I'm up all night using the restroom, completely uncomfortable, and i've have had non stop menstrual cramps for weeks. Every time he moves it literally hurts

Thanks for all your responses...
I have my 38 week appt today at 11:15. She stated that she doesnt do internals unless it is specifically requested or there is a reason.
I called yesterday to request that at the appt today she do one. Hopefully that will be reason enough.

I was doing ok up until the past few days and now I am so done. Everything hurts, I'm so uncomfortable, I'm working FT until the very end and I have a 2 1/2 year old to take care of. I sat at the breakfast table this morning and just started crying because I'm so uncomfortable & overwhelmed - so you're definitely not alone

so...
I am only 1 cm and 60% effaced 
And to top it off they are testing my for pre-eclampsia.
AND
I think I have just lost my mucus plug, but I cant tell!!!

As for how far along you are, I wouldn't worry about that too much. With my first I was 0cm & 0% effaced at my last appt. & my water broke and I was in labor the very next day so things can happen quickly

Same with me. I went to the dr on Friday nothing was going on Saturday night I went into labor.
