**Updated 8/27** 10 Free Classic ebooks each week all summer long at BN.com
These books are available free already since they are public domain books, but these are well-edited rather than just scans of a physical book. B&N will be offering 10 new books a week from July 16, 2010 - September 14, 2010.
BN.com Free Library
You don't need an ereader to read them. There is a software download on BN.com that will allow you to read it on a smartphone, iPad, laptop, Sony reader, Kobo....pretty much anything but a Kindle since they are an epub format.

Alice in Wonderland and Through the Looking Glass were free on the Kindle so I was able to read them.. But it sucks that I can't get any of these books on the Kindle.. BOOOO

You can get it every Friday from the website. They post it on the Nook page on FB and on the Free Fridays thread at BN.com boards .
