UPDATE Yikes!!! Along with their dream house, Donna and Josh just got their radon report!!

Normal is a 4. Their level is 23 !!!! They have to do special things to take care of it now!! Good they found out before they remodel the basement!!!! Donna thinks it will cost about $200.They have to hook up a special fan/pipes. Mary

DH back from Donna/Josh's. They purchased the $60+ of pipes, to connect to the outside of the house; They are running it under the deck, and applying a screen type material, to prevent mice etc. from coming through. However, because of the snow, they could not start the project today. Also, they could not find a fan anywhere in stock, so Donna had to order one, in the $200+ price range. Presently, she's telling GS to stay out of the basement. He had been playing his guitar down there. She also told me, that she knows of someone who had a high radon number as they, and also had a lower, but still high radon number on the first floor!!! Mary
