Update on the bee boo bee (thats big boy bed to anyone over the age of 2)
So we got Noah a big boy bed and last night, following Egg-gate, was his first night in it. It went brilliantly! He was a bit reluctant to get in at first, we spent part of the afternoon playing in it, so he knew all about it. So following our fantastic bedtime routine, and a few minutes play, he climbed in and went right off to sleep. He slept from 7.30 until about 3 and he woke up and called for me, I had to go in about 3 times to fix his duvet, but he slept from probabably about 3.30 until 7.30 am, so all in all, the bee boo bee is a big hit! Tonight I got him a bigger duvet and he climbed right in and went to sleep.
So ladies and gentlemen, I bring you...THE BIG BOY BED.
And look how freaking clever my amazing husband is, he has put the FP Aquarium that Noah loves on the end of the bed. I didn't move to another country for just anybody now did I?

Glad it was a success! That's the same bed we looked at for Ellie. We haven't ordered it yet though. did you get the one that is convertible from Toddler to Twin or the twin day bed. We were between the two.

I don't know, its from Ikea and the mattress comes in 3 bits, so its a toddler sized bit, with 2 add ons that eventually make the bed into a full sized twin bed. I love it, its adorable!!!

Awesome! My 2.5 year old still uses that aquarium in his big boy bed, too.

Yep, that's the one we looked at. I loved it. I thought it was such a clever idea.

Thats right! From Ikea! Gorgeous, we love it. Night 2 was a HUGE success, he slept all night without so much as a peep!!! Very exciting!

so glad it all worked out, I don't know why but I am so terrified to put her in a big girl bed that I think she will be in her crib forever!!
That bed is so cute!
