update from friday night's vent
Good news!
DH totally heard my point (took him a day to understand where I was coming from   ) and canceled helping his friend today.
We had a nice little afternoon date-went out for a great lunch, went to BBB and ordered a big recliner glider for  's room, AND went to Ikea and bought a dresser and big bookshelf for the baby's room 
When we got home we ordered takeout and he put the furniture together-and organized the room more.
I'm pretty sure the crib and changing table are going to be ready for pickup at Giggle on Tuesday (YAY!) so it seems like all is moving along now....FINALLY!
Only downside is we waited a bit too long to order the chair-it'll be in 8-12 weeks from now and I'm due in 5.
Thanks girls for your support friday night and yesterday on my thread-I was having quite a moment, so nice to know you would have felt the same!

So glad things worked out!! Yay for furniture! We got a recliner glider from BBB last weekend. I am so excited for it to get here, Which one did you guys get?

oh that sounds like a nice weekend!
I want to know what glider you got too! I am in love with a glider from BBB and of course it is one of the more expensive ones. . damn champagne taste!

I forgot what the style's called (maybe Best??)-it's one of the big plush armchair-ish recliner ones. If you've been to the Westbury BBB it's in brown with beige piping. We ordered it in red with white piping through it!
It's really big and you literally sink into it. It was $599, but lucky us, we got a Buy Buy Baby mailer and were able to use a 20% off coupon on it!!
They said 8-12 weeks, but 8 weeks is much more likely.
Of course I'm cranky pants because I want it by the time gets here.
What are the chances of it coming before 8 weeks?

I'm so glad that he realized your point and that you had a great day. Can you talk to my DH? He works all of the time!!!!
Some times things may surprise you and it will come quickly. I think right now is a slower period for stores and manufactures, so they have to cover their a$$es.
I will keep my fingers crossed.

Also, I ordered a custom glider/ottoman, and they said it would take 12 weeks...I got it in 2!!!

I think we got the same one! It was called the Tryp? We got it yellow with the same piping. We ordered it two weeks ago, the sales lady said 8-10 weeks I'll keep you posted if we hear anything sooner.
