UPDATE---Ahh...now I understand...anyone have life insurance? physical question.
I am getting life insurance and the I was told that someone would be coming to do blood work and urine sample. She told me she would be wtih me for about 4 HOURS!!!!!!
I'm sure they ask questions...but how many could they ask?

that doesn't sound right at all. blood and urine take about 5 min. and the application should take about 15 minutes. This isn't the agent filling out the application, the examiner only asks medical questions etc., have you had any tickets, violations, etc.
Maybe is it a 4 hour window like a delivery for when they are going to arrive?

My agent (my cousin) told me she would ask questions about my medical history...he said a bunch.....urine, blood....I am going to call him and then call her back to double check.

Maybe that was a window of when they will be there? My annual physical with my internist doesn't take anywhere near 4 hours so that sounds wrong.

update: I called back...and she told me that I have to fast 4 hours before!!! She started laughing because she didn't think I understood what she was saying. My cell must have cut out when she said "fast" because I did not hear that word.
Phew! Glad it will be quick.

We had someone come to our home for urine and the HIV test...she was there about 20 minutes! It was all very simple and I qualified for some super healthy rate!

DH and I just got life insurance. DH went to the insurance place to give his blood, urine sample and fill out paperwork. I think it did not take more than 1 or 1.5 hours for him. His was longer than mine because of his coverage being much larger than mine.
They came to the house for my part. That lasted 30 minutes.

Unfortunately once you have cancer they drop you. Also many people unfortunately can't afford it or are uneducated about it. Dh and both have work plans and supplemental plans. We are also prepaying our funerals once we hit 40. I have 3 family members who died without and it was a financial burden. Never want to do that to my family.

not true.
Every company has diff guidelines and criteria.
If you apply for life insurance, don't have any issue and then get cancer...there is nothing they can do.
