Upcoming festivals/fairs/ outdoor events on LI?
Just looking for things to do on the weekends. I have a 4 1/2 month old but lookiing to walk around places with him & DH.

We're going to a Children's Fall Festival somewhere in N. Bellmore this Sunday that our friends invited us to...not sure where exactly though.

Good post! Mason is 4 1/2 months old and always looking for nice places to walk around or stuff to do with him. he now loves the baby bjorn.

Not sure where you are looking (nassau or suffolk)
The bronx zoo is having boo at the zoo on weekends right now- 4.5 might be young for that but it is an option.
Oct 17 and 18th is the Oyster festival in Oyster Bay:

Ot 24th
Starting at 10am - Garden City has their fall festival on 7th street. We didn't go last year but we did go when DD#1 was about 4 months. It was nice to walk around - they have somethings for older children (trackless train, bouncers) it was nice to walk around.

There is also the Bellmore Street Fair this weekend coming up. Its on Bedford Avenue and goes up to Sunrise Hwy. They have a petting zoo, pony rides, street vendors and crafts.

Next weekend is the Sayville Fall Festival. They have a Barbecue Battle and a Bake-off scheduled! Live music, petting zoo and Pony rides too. It's at Gillette Park. It's the same day as the Halloween parade.. which is always good times for the little ones.
