Ugh...I failed the Glucose Test.
If you remember, my doctor was concerned about some of my symptoms after I was eating (heart racing, dizzyness, inability to sit still) and decided to do my Glucose Screen at 21 weeks instead of waiting.
I got the results today and I failed.
The cut-off is 134 and I got a 149.
Now I need to go for the 3 hour.
For my other failure friends...
How does the 3 hour work?? Is it the same thing? Drink and blood draw?

you drink, pee, draw blood
as soon as you finish the drink and then every hour for 3 hours repeat the pee and blood draw.
at least that's what mine entailed.

Yup as above. Don't worry - I barely failed mine. I had to check my sugars and my numbers were almost perfect. I was low more often than high.
It's all gone now that my BB is here...

My 3 hour is on the 16th.
They don't take appointments, so I just have to show up at 7:00 am and tell them I'm there for the Glucose Screen.
Fun!!

Pretty much the same for me except for the peeing part. And they also draw blood before you drink.

I just went for my 3 hour today...my one hour numbers were 153. They take your blood after fasting. You drink a drink that is 2x as sweet as the one hour drink, wait an hour, take blood, wait an hour take blood, wait an hour, take blood
It is very boring and I felt like crap afterwards. I was also STARVING
I hope we both pass

 The three hour was a joy!  I just did it yesterday. Mine was the same as everyone above without having to pee. Good luck sweetie. Oh~ and bring PLENTY to read. It is very boring!!

Mine didnt involve the peeing part, but at quest labs, they require an appt for the 3 hour test and they dont do it on weekends either

I failed the 1 hour and passed the 3 hour. It was a total of 4 sticks, I remember because they did 2 from each arm. Quest didnt want me to leave in between so DH brought cards and we played right there in the waiting room. The hardest part was the wait.
