ugh! why do bridesmaid dress maker insist on depressing you?!
so, i'm in a wedding in may, and went to get measured and order my dress last night. now, i know i'm not super skinny, but most of my "Street" clothes are a 6 or 8, and like a small or medium in tops. WELL, i had to order the dress in a size 12! LOL it really surprised me! i think its mostly because of my boobs- lol- but still! oh, well- at least its a pretty dress!

I always wondered this also! don't they realize that's the major reason no one wants to be a BM? 
my sister's SIL is a size 0 in street clothes. for their wedding her dress was a 6!

even more depressing is if you are a size 14, you are an 18 or 20 in these dresses.
Either way, it's depressing..

It isn't limited to BM dresses. I had the same struggle when I was buying my wedding dress.

yup just ordered bm dresses. if we ordered 20 for a person who is a street 12 it would have been $20 more because that is considered plus size.
i prepared myself when i ordered my wedding gown, so it was not that shocking. but my mother is so upset and says something to everyone.

yup! i'm normally an 8/10 or a medium...for my friends wedding in august 08, based on my measurements i had to order a 16! like you its also because of my boobs but still, it totally makes you never want to eat again!
