Two year olds and speech
I'm beyond amazed what a difference in speech I hear from the time Michael turned two until now (5 months later). He always had a large vocabulary but always kind of babbled the words. Now, it is unbelievable how clearly he speaks and the sentences he is putting together, so gramatically correct too! He is so funny now and everyone gets such kick out of him! Not trying to brag here, but just wanted to share this with other moms of two year old boys/girls that are waiting for that verbal explosion! All I can say is to continue to talk to them (A LOT) and read books often! We read appx. 4-7 books every night, and not only is he learning a lot from them but he just loves that routine!

I know! It's really amazing! My DH and I were talking about this yesterday, it's like past few weeks DD is talking in full sentences , she is such a little girl now, lol. I do something and if she doesn't like it she says to me "it's not funny mommy, stop it"  it's too adorable.
