Twins bday party

How much would you spend for a bday present for twins that are in my daughters class? Would you get each of them a present? They are turning 4 and DD is invited. I usually do $20 or $25 GC to the movies.

Def two gifts at that age so they can each open something.

Re: Twins bday party

As a twin mom I see both sides to this.
Yes both kids should get a gift but spending $50 for a preschool bday party is a lot and I would never expect parents to do that for my twins.
My twins just had their 4th birthday party and they had plenty of gifts that were for them to share (mostly gift cards) and they didn't bat an eye.
I would say spend $15 per kid but that's just me. I never worry too much about my kids being jipped because they are twins and as a parent I am making out on the deal have one party for 2 kidsChat Icon

This sounds reasonable to me.. I would opt for two gifts of a smaller amount.

Twins bday party

I look at it as, if I was going to two separate parties in the same weekend. Twins or not I wouldn't give less (unless we didn't have it, that's a different story)

I love 5 below for birthdays though! You can still stay in budget and get a decent gift!

Re: Twins bday party

I'd get 2 gifts but spend less, as a pp mentioned. Even though it is 2 kids, there's only 1 party. Or you could get a craft or something that both kids can do together (beads, etc.).

Twins bday party

I recently went to a twin bday party and gave them both gifts that were around 25 (kids from dd's class).
