TTC & christmas parties

Anyone else get a little nervous making holiday plans ?
I never stop living in the 2WW but....

AF is due Wednesday, I either have KILLER PMS or a BFP coming my way. Can't decide.

I'm being asked about christmas parties for next week.
who should drive ?
Do I want to be picked up so I can drink ?
Do I want anything from the liquor store?
Etc

I feel like saying, " Can I get back to you Wednesday ?" Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon

Re: TTC & christmas parties

Here is what I was told by my Midwife....have the drink. Don't stop living your life at this point. If you think you may be PG..have one drink (in my case no one knows we are TTC so that is why she suggested one drink).
If you are PG it's so early on,that a cocktail or two isn't going to hurt you or your baby. Chat Icon

I never stop all that stuff while TTC. YOu never know how long it is going to take and even if you are pregnant, it's early enough that you are sharing fluids, etc. TTC can be stressful enough that I don't need to add that to it.

If it makes you feel any better with DS it was my first month"seeing what happens" no deana's plan, no tracking O, nothing and 2 days before my BFP I was out doing sake bombs for my b-day! It happens.....imo not a big deal. I don't stop anything til I get BFP, just maybe tone down or modify.

Re: TTC & christmas parties

Just my two cents.. and Im not a regular poster on here.. but I had no idea when I got my BFP that I was going to get one.. and the night before I tested, I drank like a fish.. out in the city for a friends bday.. I know plenty of people who drank in the beginning before they knew they were preggo and they had wonderful beautiful babies.. so I say.. live it up while you can!!! you will have many weeks to stay sober if it really is a BFP!!! And I hope it is!! good luck!
