Titling the cover person instead of man "could be why the magazine business isn't so great".

Again, by doing something stupid like this, he's distracting everyone from the real dangers he's doing to the country...
BTW, there have been at least 9 female Person of the Year winners (either individually or as a group, besides huge groups like "You" or "Middle Americans")
"American Women" was "Man of the Year" in 1975
The "Endangered Earth" (aka "Mother Earth") was "Man of the Year" in 1988
"The Computer" in 1982
So, technically, even "Person of the Year" doesn't encompass all of the winners....

I agree, everything he says and does is an absolute distraction to what's really happening. But, in my mind, what more does he need to say and do to prove he's a misogynist to his supporters who defend him and make excuses for all of the horrible and inappropriate things he says? I'm sure his supporters will put some kind of spin on his little poll to the crowd to defend him and say he isn't sexist.

You're about to be leader of a freaking nation and you're standing up arguing semantics over what you should be called by a magazine????? NOBODY gives a $hit if you're called "person" or "man". Literally NOBODY. He is such a self absorbed, narcissistic, arrogant piece of trash. I cannot stand him!!!
Like everyone else said, this is just another DISTRACTION technique. This man is so ill equipped for this task that I cannot understand how ANYONE is standing by him. I've been trying hard to not read the news anymore or watch him because all I want to do is punch his smug face. It's disgusting to me this fool was voted in, what President Elect wastes time addressing something SO STUPID?!?!?!?! How can anyone take him seriously???????
