Toddler question...

Just curious- How much TV does your toddler watch? ( My DD watches an hour in the A.M. and about the same at night...unless it's raining

Re: Toddler question...

My kids don't watch any. They have no interest in it whatsoever....They'd rather play. I know that alot of people say it's good but there are some times when you WISH that they would want to watch at least for 15 minutes..

Re: Toddler question...

Jack watches about two hours in the am and depending on the weather a video in the afternoon. I work from home so sometimes I need him to watch a video. I know there are tv-nazis out there, but in my opinion the amount Jack watches is ok.

Now when you say "watch" is your child really engaged in the show? Jack will ask to turn the TV on and will be engaged in certain shows for maybe 20 minutes then usually looses interest and starts playing with something. He may come back to the show after a bit but he rarely sits and watches for any stretch of time.

Come to think of it he rarely sits for any stretch of time for anything!

Pretty much the same...unless it's Jack's Big Music Show- She is glued to it.
