Toddler multivitamin Q.
Hi,
My 2 year old refuses to take the vitamins that her ped prescribed. I was thinking about getting an over the counter one but should I just call the Ped for another prescription that maybe she will take. These current ones have fluoride in them and are brighly colored and kind of chalky.

I give my kiddies the Flintstone Gummy Vitamins. They love them and are often asking for more! lol I just had my ped prescribe the additional vitamin that the Flintstones didn't have. (am having a brain fart and cannot remember what it was for).

My son was the same way (2.5 yrs old) until he started seeing me take my prenatal every morning. Once he saw me, he wanted to take his "medicine like Mommy." Maybe you could try that or pretend to take one of her vitamins and ask her if she wants one too? If not I would just buy the flinstone's vitamins. That's what I was going to do if he kept on refusing them.
