Today is my last day of work
Actually mentally I am not ready to go out - I love my job (well most days) and I love the people I work with. I have been having minor contractions and tightening constantly whenever I walk around, cramping in a band in the front and back. It goes away when I rest but as soon as I try to do short errands or go to work I have them constantly.
Dr said I need to take it easy and it was time to rest - the commute to NYC and running around the office was just too much. So today is my last day as my doctor put me on bedrest officially as of tomorrow so I could finalize a few things at work before leaving.
So I guess I will have a lot of time to be on here. I feel bad though as we are supposed to be moving this month and I will be completely useless - DH and my family refuse to allow me to help pack or anything. Guess I can make calls and wait for workers to let them in and wait for the cable people etc.

I could not imagine commuting in NYC. I did it for 1 week when I was 26 wks PG. I was exhausted with lots of pain. And that's when I had to start taking easy following that week. The baby dropped, etc... I got so worried.
Enjoy the rest! Follow your family advise, don't do too much.

Enjoy your last day at work! And please do not ignore your doctor and try to pack. Let DH and your family do it. You will be busy soon enough

well it is official I am now home - I am definitely going to miss my office as they have been so good to me and I have made some nice friends and they told me I will always have a place there to come back to.

Well make sure you heed the Dr's orders and rest!!
Today was my last day too, it was easy, but not easy at the same time.
Enjoy this "quiet" time before the baby arrives!!! I'll be doing the same!!

It won't be too quiet - even if I can't pack, paint or help - we are moving soon and I will need to make a lot of calls, wait around for the cable people, let in workers...LOL as DH said you can sit and direct...LOL
