Are you kidding me? That's so irresponsible. Didn't they think at all that making gang products would make gang life even more legitimate to kids? 
Sending this to DH, we will not be spending any money on New Era products going forward.

this is just DISGUSTING. I want to say so much more, but it's all be starred out anyway.
I can't believe anyone would market gang colors....ESPECIALLY in light of what happened to thosepoor kids in Newark (which may have ties to a vicous gang)

So I sent it to DH and this is what he replied with (which is really upsetting to hear)
That is awful, but there is a theory as to why teams sometimes change their color schemes. Originally it was just to sell more hats / or jerseys or whatever, but more teams are adding gang colors to their uniforms. Not sure if it is for street cred or what, but New Era definitely isn’t the only one doing this. This is the most blatant, but not unique.

Yes, it's true, but I think the caps that you've seen were all bootlegs. This seems like the first blatant fully licensed use of gang colors.
