Tipping for Birthday Party
So I know we live in the land of tipping EVERYONE!! but I just wanted to run something by you guys.
DD is having a party at a friends art studio next week. My friend will be doing the craft, supplying the space, crafts, juice and snack etc and I will be providing cake, pizza, favor bags the usual other stuff. The cost for the studio is $350.
Should I be tipping my friend too?

Is she the owner? If yes. No tip. Besides are you serving the food & cleaning up?

Thank you!! It is pricey but I live out east and things are super expensive out here for parties ..hopefully this will be my daughters last big party!

Not if she's the owner, plus that is pricey for a party.
I found that not all places will take tips. My mom wanted to tip the girl at Build a Bear when we had DD's party and the girl said she could not accept it. But we had another of her parties at Stew Leonards (in Danbury) and we tipped the two kids because they did such a great job.

if you felt she and her husband went over and beyond then sure. however, not necessary.
