Tightness/Pulling Feeling in Abdomen - 1st Tri
I've noticed this weekend that I have a tight feeling and pulling sensation across my abdomen. (I am almost 10wks) Just wondering if that was a normal thing to be feeling.

I've had cramping off and on for weeks which I figured was my uterus expanding but this is such a weirder feeling. I guess it could be the actual muscles and ligaments stretching........I didn't think that it happened this early on. I was worried that I was bending over too much or something and causing a problem with the baby. I hate the first trimester.........I worry about everything!!!

I got a really bad muscle pulling pain right at the center top of my belly. It lasted for weeks. Your muscles are also stretching and everything in there is being moved around to make room for the baby.
If you are really worried, ask your doctor  I was worried a lot in the 1st trimester so I know how you feel!

Thanks!! I will see how I feel tomorrow and I will call the doctor if it persists just to make sure it's nothing to worry about. I go for my Ultrascreen on March 7th..........I CANNOT wait!!! I will feel SO much better once I can see the baby again and know that everything is okay. Thanks again for the reply!!

yes I have this too! It is normal...everything has to stretch.
No one ever tells you how painful pregnancy can be sometimes

we are just about the same amount along, and I feel the same thing! So let's hope it's normal, I think it is

you are going to have a lot of wierd feelings. Muscles are moving around and expanding and there may be pain associated with that.

Glad everyone is getting the same feelings. Sometimes you get nervous because you're not sure what's normal. I've had more cramping on and off the past two days or so as well along with the tightness. Maybe the baby is having a growth spurt and is stretching things out in there!!

I definitely have the tightness, plus my abs feel like i did a million crunches. The muscles are so sore. I chalked it up to things stretching and adjusting. The cramps come and go. I'm just about 8 weeks.
