thoughts on this wine rack
i need to fill some wall space in my kitchen and was thinking of this rustic wine rack from PB.

I think what are off balance are the alterating bottles.
I have seen those with less bottles (3 or 4) and it was cute. I think this one is too big.

Yeah, I think it looks a little messy, b/c the bottles are facing different directions & are laying at at angles.
I also think it looks more whimsical, than rustic, which may be what you are going for, but its not my style at all.

damm, i really thought it would work. also thinking of buying the iron hanging baskets in the pic as well as some other decorative woven baskets. i think the wine rack would look out as a stand alone piece but when grouped, maybe not so much as a showpiece.

I think it looks kind of sloppy, but I think the white walls are throwing me off. It would probably look better on a dark colored wall or even a brick wall.

With a curious toddler, I've been thinking more and more about how to get our wine out of reach. Maybe the wall is the way to go. Although there are times that we have a lot of bottles and sometimes we have just a few - not sure how that would work out.
I saw something in IKEA that was similar - if you want to spend less.
$9.99 for 4 bottles
