Thoughts on these names...
 Portia Loren
 Rocco Lorenz
Lorenzo is a family name on DH side & Ive always loved Loren for a girl....I know Im going to get mixed feelings on the names, so this is my test to see if I should keep it quiet from family/friends until baby is born...Thanks

I love Loren and Lorenzo but I don't love Portia. But then again, I don't know you, your family, or what your last name is -- just for me I wouldn't love it.
Every time I think of Portia, I think of someone being "portly" which to me means fat and I don't like that imagery.
Portia De Rossi is gorgeous, though, of course, and very chic. 
We're naming our baby Megan anyway lol so you wouldn't look to me for ideas since that's your name!
I think if you sound wishy-washy about the name, people will feel free to be critical no matter what. If you say "the baby is ____" and tell them you're not putting it up for debate, hopefully they'll hold their comments to themselves. Hopefully.

I had a student named Portia (though spelled differntly) and always thought it was cool. And you gotta love the Shakespeare reference! Loren and Lorenzo are great. Is Loren Portia an option?

HaHa I love how you broke it down-- But yeah I think my family is going to have alot to say so i just may wait to announce it
Only other issue Im having with the name Portia is what do we call her for short?? DH says Tia...but ehhh I dont know about that! I bet we end up changing our minds a thousand times before we;re set on something.

That was exactly what I thought of when I read Rocco...I hated the show...I think its funny how we associate names with certain things and experiences....
That being said...you have to do what your heart desires! You cant let anyone else's opinions sway you! It will grow on them, especially once they meet your little one!!
