Those who had parties at VFW type halls...Question...
What did you use for tableclothes?
I am a bit of a freak, I admit, but these types of things annoy me and consume me ...lmao
I hate Paper tableclothes.
Is there a place you can buy fabric ones real cheap? Or rent them? are they $$$$ to rent ( I don't wanna just throw money away on something like that.) TIA!

It kind of depends... if you have time to keep your eye out for sales on linens but then you'd have them to store and deal with which may be good or bad.
Call a table/chair/tent rental place. They usually have linens. Not too $$ I'm sure.
Have you asked the hall if they can rent you? They may have some for their own functions or at least recommend their rental company.

They have really nice paper ones that look and feel like cloth...I know they carry them at Cedarhurst Paper, but I am sure that they have them lots of other places too!

We used the Elk's Lodge for DS's Baptism and they provided cloth tablecloths.

I haven't had a party at one of these places, but I'll tell you that my mom found really nice fabric tablecloths at The Christmas Tree Shop this past summer for like $3 each...we used them outside for DD's b-day party, and they held up great and we were able to save them for future years...nice bright colors, the flannel backing, etc.
Obviously it's hit or miss there, but if you're close to there, it's worth a shot to check them out.

The Kof C I used included the linens (tablecloth and napkins).
I am sure there are places you can rent them. Sometimes caterers offer this service.
