Those of you that have health insurance that covers IVF, who do you have insurance with?
I currently have United Healthcare and they do not cover IVF. I am trying to research and find out if my employer offers any health plans that do cover IVF. So far I have found Kaiser, but Kaiser only covers 50% which would still leave us paying thousands of dollars.
So those of you that have insurance that covers IVF, who do you have insurance with?

Both Cigna and Aetna cover it for our plans.
Unfortunately it's all company dictated and a lot of companies don't think about IF or don't care.

I have United Healthcare and IVF is covered up to $20,000.
Maybe it depends on the coverage your employer has selected...

United Healthcare...they pay up to $20K lifetime for IF benefits. I think your company decides whether or not to offer IF benefits with your insurance.

Empire/Goverment!!! It's amazing, they cover 50,000 max for all infertility, except donor sperm/egg.

I was also told if its iui its unlimited..I dk about that though.
I went right for ivf with that coverage and my age.
My doc said=-its good coverage go right for ivf

WE HAVE GHI. WE HAVE UNLIMITED IUI AND I BELIEVE 3 IVFS THAT WE WOULD BE RESPONSIBLE FOR 20%

Empire - United Healthcare.
As long as we use a Center for Excellence all charges are covered and there is a $50K limit.
Government job here also.

It is all about the policy that your employer purchases and offers the employees. You can have the same "brand" of insurance as another person and both have different amounts of coverage and different items covered.
