This poem was written for my baby
one of my youth group kids back in NY writes poetry and I told her not to buy anything for her, but to write a poem for her.
Alyson's Song
Little Princess with eyes so bright
You came straight from heaven to bless our lives
Tiny hands to wrap around your daddy’s finger
Tiny kisses to give to your mother
A thousand laughs and a thousand joys are waiting for you
Magical times spent with family and friends are here for you
Your first words, your first steps, and all the happy times we won’t forget.
There’s just one thing that needs to be remembered no matter how far or near your family is we are always here to give.
To Give the hugs, to give the kisses, and to give you star on which to make wishes
But one thing is for certain, the grandest gift in all the world is love.
