i really wish people who take that extra step and bring the baby to a hospital, fire house or police station. when they just leave it there--it is terrible.
i mean its better that she left the baby for someone to find than do something horrible to the baby like you've seen in the news at times

I heard about this ealier today on the radio.
I'm hoping it was one of the parents that put in the 911 call, to be sure the baby was found.
Why they wouldn't take her to a hosital or police station is beyond me. But if it was them, I'm just glad they called so someone would find her.

at hospitals too - who knows what this person knew...
I wonder if this baby can be adopted?  I'd hate to think of a newborn in foster care!!!!

What really makes me mad is that Mercy hospital is soooo close to that area...they have a huge sign in front that says it's a safe haven for unwanted babies.......I the little one is found a good home

These people are disgusting.
That poor little baby. It makes me sick that there are people basically throwing these children away, and then there are other good people who struggle to have a child. It's just not fair.

Seriously! Mercy is like down the street!!!Why not drop the baby off right there!?

that poor baby....
people are INSANE! just drop it off at a hospital or police station if you really can't care for the baby or "don't want it."
sadly, though, there is so little respect for life in this society, it doesn't surprise me. if we don't want something, we throw it away.
