This is really the one thing I HATE about havin a kid...
I have about ten trillion errands to run today and the thought of dragging DD around to the stores, getting soaked taking her in and out of the car, sitting her in wet carts etc etc etc. is making me really, really annoyed. Has there been any scientific breakthroughs on teleporting?
I HAVE to go to the post office and she's out of overnight diapers. My license also expires Wed. so I reallllyyyy need to hit up the DMV too.
UGH.

I hate errands too, and taking DD. It is the main thing that frustrates me! I just want to bang out all my errands like I used to but you just can't with a DC.

This is probably the single most thing I miss about pre-mom days 
(pardon that strange sentence structure, I havent slept in almost 15 months  )

Try it with two kids! Days like this I usually stay home-or go out while my DH watches them or they nap..

Totally Jen! I took for granted the days when it was soooo easy to pop in and out of the car and into gazillions of stores. Now when I want to take Riley, I gotta make it all happen between naps and feedings..it's madness!

If it's any help...sometimes I order stamps through the mail and your mailman will deliver them (for free) & Alice.com is free shipping all the time and you can get diapers there

I totally, totally agree with you! And it's not the in and out of the car that's annoying, it's literally just the rain. I'm going to have to figure something out for when this next one is born.

I was just about to say the same thing. In fact, I'm gonna be a complete one-upper and say: I SEE your 2 kids and raise you a 2 kids + being pregnant.
By far the biggest thing I miss about my child-free days is being able to run errands whenever I think to. Now it requires careful planning....

Yep! I hear you! Had to bring DS to school this AM and have to go pick him up in a couple hours.
Now, add DD to the mix! Walk DS into school, holding his hand, pushing the snap n go with the other! Back to car!
I usually do some grocery shopping after I drop him and I was like "No Way"! LOL "I'll find something for lunch and already have something for dinner..thank goodness"!

Do you have a rain cover for your stroller? If so, use the stroller for your errands and throw the rain cover over the stroller-- it helps a bit.

I know - I was just trying to decide whether or not I want to chance a trip to Target. Each day, I have a different errand to do and arranging them around DD's schedule is hard !

I don't even attempt to go out on days like this. I'll wind up soaked getting them both in and out of the car.
That's why I just ordered a bunch of stuff on Amazon.

well I did the post office and target and I will try and do the DMV tomorrow.
I drove by the DMV and it was packed so I was NOT even attempting it.
